As you may or may not know, I am studying at Plymouth university. Last week to the surprise of many, Plymouth host one of the Americas Cup world series regattas. It was amazing to watch the incredible boats flying around Plymouth sound. I have to say Plymouth did a great job of hosting the event. The hoe provided a second to none vantage point for watching the racing. On the Tuesday i was able to go down the the AC Base, and have a look around the boats up and close. It really was great to be that close and see how all the boats worked. Unfortunately the week has only wetted my appetite for actually sailing one. It was so frustrating being that close to them without being onboard sailing! It is now my mission!
